It’s slowly becoming scary. Double pack on the first day of play. Goal on the second matchday. Double package on the third day of play. Hat trick on matchday four. And another double on matchday five. Serhou Guirassy (27) – a player who is not known to every fan – is currently tearing up the Bundesliga in the shirt of VfB Stuttgart. After five games he has no fewer than ten goals to his name.
The Guinean has thus lifted his team from Stuttgart – with whom Leonidas Stergiou (21), captain of the U21 national team, recently signed a contract – to the top of the table. A team that had to fight for survival in relegation a few months ago will be top of the Bundesliga on Saturday evening after their recent 3-1 win against Darmstadt. Pure madness!
