Until five seconds before the end of injury time, the motto from Nati’s perspective was: No Howler – but luckily there are Freuler!

Although the Swiss lost ground minute by minute in Pristina, they were in the lead in injury time. Thanks to Remo Freuler: the 31-year-old made it 1-0 in the 14th minute with a remarkable volley, his 7th goal in the 57th international match. With the score 2-1 in the 79th minute, contrary to the style of play, Freuler’s finish forced Kosovo captain Rrahmani to score an own goal.
