Ducarroz ungratefully fourth

BMX freestyler Nikita Ducarroz misses the expected European Championship medal. The 26-year-old from Geneva takes 4th place at the skatepark Krzeszowice.

Ducarroz, Olympic bronze medalist in Tokyo and silver medalist of last year’s World Championship, scored only a disappointing 74.00 points in the best of two heats. The title again went to Czech Iveta Miculycova.

Christen/Lochbihler miss the final

The Swiss shooters Nina Christen and Jan Lochbihler took 5th place in the mixed team in the 10 m air rifle category. The duo missed the final of the top four by just 0.1 point. The second Swiss mixed team with Chiara Leone and Christoph Dürr took 27th place. (SDA)
