Vekic out of the way: Golubic in Nottingham in quarter-finals

Viktorija Golubic (30, WTA 150) celebrates another victory in the eighth finals in Nottingham. She beats Donna Vekic (26) 6:4, 6:1, it’s the second success this year against a top 50 player.

At an ITF tournament last week, Golubic started their grass-court season by reaching the quarterfinals. Now she has two important wins at the WTA 250 level.
