BMX legend Pat Casey has died in an accident

The 29-year-old driver died during training in the presence of his family

Pat Casey, one of the best riders of BMX for the past two decades, died at the age of 29 after an accident at Slayground Motocross Park, in Northern California, where he was training motocross. During one of his jumps, the motorcycle fell on the American athlete, in the presence of his family. Rescue teams quickly arrived and spent more than an hour trying to revive him before finally declaring him dead.

Pat Casey was born on December 26, 1993 in Riverside, California, where he began building his career as rider from BMX to pro at just 16 years old. The American has collected medals at the X Games, Red Bull Dreamline Dirt and FISE, in addition to being a phenomenon on the net thanks to the videos of his various tricks.
