The Norwegian ski stars surprise Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen, who retired in March, with a pool party. The greats of the Norwegian ski world will also be present: Aksel Svindal, Kjetil Jansrud and Aleksander Kilde.

The surprise succeeds, of course. The Norwegians congratulate the 35-year-old in their Instagram stories. Kilde writes on his photo: “Ask Haugen how to quit ski racing.” And the Norwegian knows exactly how! He enjoys himself with a drink in the pool – with clothes on.

Haugen retired in March at the age of 35. The Norwegian’s greatest success was the bronze medal at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang in the team competition. (jsl)
