Retraining with the aid of the disability insurance (IV) must be aimed at ensuring that the IV does not have to pay a pension. The Swiss Federal Court of Auditors (SFAO) therefore advises to think more consciously about the chances of success of retraining.
The SFAO notes that retraining opportunities are important for the reintegration of physically or mentally disabled people into the labor market. 20 percent of retrained people need support

Clearer and more consistent rules
The SFAO therefore recommends that the Federal Social Insurance Service (BSV) lays down clearer and more uniform rules with the IV services, with a view to equal treatment.
