Swiss Abroad demands free movement of people

The Council of the Swiss Abroad (OSR) calls in its election program for the continuation of the free movement of persons. Filippo Lombardi, President of the Organizations of Switzerland Abroad (OSA), with then Federal President and Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis on August 20, 2022 in Lugano.

In addition, the ASR calls for guaranteeing and promoting the exercise of political rights abroad, the organization announced on Friday.

The ASR delegates also want Swiss politicians to encourage the development of e-government in the coming legislature, to continue to remove obstacles to mobility related to social security and to maintain the consular network abroad.

The ASR also advocates guaranteeing the development of independent information for Swiss people abroad and securing financial resources for offers for young Swiss people abroad.
