Former Vaud Councilor of State Pascal Broulis (FDP) wants to run for the Council of States in the 2023 elections. Following the announced resignation of Olivier Français, he has run for the nomination of the FDP and will run against Jacqueline de Quattro.

The FDP Vaud officially announced the candidacies in a communiqué on Tuesday morning. Only the 57-year-old former Vaud Finance Director and the 62-year-old National Council are up for election. The Liberals speak of “a card of two experienced personalities recognized for their skills, which will be presented at the Party Congress on December 8 in Savigny”.

De Quattro was a member of the government of Vaud for twelve years, Broulis for about 20 years. (SDA)
