During this time, the Junge SVP managed to become a well-known brand thanks to a clear profile and strong media presence. The 29-year-old also managed to multiply the young party’s annual budget.
Trachsel is resigning as president because he wants to focus on his work and his family, the Young SVP wrote. The two vice-presidents Andreas Gerber and Sacha Turin, general secretary Lukas Fritz Hüppin, Léa Milevaz and Léonard Martin are also not standing for re-election. (SDA)
