Swiss airports affected by warning strikes

Switzerland’s Zurich and Geneva airports and Basel’s Euroairport were affected by warning strikes at Germany’s Berlin and Hamburg airports. (icon image)

On Monday, eight should have taken off from Berlin and three from Hamburg to Zurich. According to the news of the Keystone-SDA news agency, flights to Berlin-Brandenburg Airport (BER) and Hamburg Airport had previously been carried out.

At the second largest Swiss airport in Geneva, one flight each of Swiss and Easyjet airlines from and to Berlin was affected, as the airport announced on demand. Three flights departing from Berlin at Basel Euroairport have been cancelled. Flights in Basel to and from Hamburg were not affected.

At Swiss airline Swiss, more than 1,500 passengers were affected by canceled flights on Monday, as the airline announced on demand.
