In 2022, about half of the companies newly relocated to Switzerland came from the USA, Germany and France. As in previous years, most of the companies came from the information and communication technology (ICT) and life sciences sectors.
As VDK explains, newly added companies in the previous year created 1199 new jobs in Switzerland in their first year of operation. The settlements listed in the site promotion statistics are those obtained by the cantonal, regional and national site promotion offices.
