The US actress protested her innocence in a civil lawsuit filed against Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow (50) for a skiing accident. Paltrow said Friday before the court in Park City, Utah, that the crash in the Rocky Mountains in 2016 was caused not by her, but by Terry Sanderson, 75, who filed a lawsuit against her.
Retired optometrist Sanderson accuses Paltrow of bumping into him and seriously injuring him while skiing. Lawyer for the plaintiff, Lawrence Buhler, told Sanderson at the start of the trial Tuesday that he had driven “dangerously” and “recklessly”, causing Sanderson “fracture of all four ribs and permanent brain damage” and leaving him unconscious.
