Robots take over at McDonald’s. The branch in Forth Wort, Texas, USA, does not need more staff. A few are still in the kitchen. This much. No one at the counter, no one at the cash register. Robots do the rest. The brave new world of fast food…
Orders are placed on large touch screens. You can no longer order a Big Mac or a large serving of french fries from the staff. It goes without saying that the payment was made by credit card. Then you get a number. And it waits until a machine places the order, it says “Daily Mail”.
no table
You cannot sit comfortably on a branch and eat an unhealthy but delicious meal. There is no table. Hungry customers are lured by the “order, pay, buy” slogan before they eat.
The innovation was only partially well received by customers. Many fear that more and more people will lose their jobs. That they no longer have anyone to turn to when they make a mistake. Others are happy to be able to order anonymously. And imagine that robots make fewer mistakes than humans. (be)
