Migros boss Zumbrunnen resigned!

This one comes as a surprise! Fabrice Zumbrunnen (52) will resign from his position as the Head of Migros General Directorate at the end of April 2023. After five years in this position. After ten years in General Management and five years as President, Zumbrunnen wants to break new ground professionally.

For the last time, newly developed coffee balls were presented to the public. It was defeated by Migros in the alcohol vote. As part of Zumbrunnen, Migros expanded its leading position in online commerce and created new, lucrative areas such as healthcare.

“Start over something new”

“After more than 26 years at Migros, I have decided to start something new again,” explains Fabrice Zumbrunnen. “The last ten years at Headquarters, five of which were Presidents, have been challenging but also exciting.”

He finds it difficult to leave this “big company with its subordinates”. “On the other hand, I look forward to the tasks ahead,” explains Zumbrunnen, head of the country’s largest private employer.

A successor is sought for the youngest Migros boss in history.
