More cars sold: Mercedes-Benz recorded an increase in sales

Sales fell three percent in the fourth quarter. In the particularly expensive segment, including Maybach, G- or S-Class, sales in 2023 remained stable at 328,200 vehicles, while in the entry-level range (including A and B-Class) they increased by 4 percent. The company sold 618,700 vehicles here.

When we look at the regions, a 7 percent increase was recorded only in Europe. In China, Mercedes’ biggest market, sales fell two percent to 737,200 vehicles. In North America, sales fell one percent.

Mercedes has increased the number of fully electric cars. DAX group sold 222,600 vehicles here, up 73 percent.

According to the statement, sales manager Britta Seeger said, “Thanks to our customers’ unwavering trust in our products and brand, we reached our sales target in 2023.” (SDA)
