Syngenta employees in Switzerland can look forward to higher salaries.

However, this does not mean that the wages of approximately 3,000 employees will increase by 2.2 percent. Instead, the higher salary amount is made available to superiors for individual wage adjustments. When asked by news agency AWP, a Syngenta spokesperson explained that they had a certain degree of discretion.

However, the spokesman said that in principle the wages of all employees will increase. The only exception is top management, where no salary increases are planned.

Syngenta explained that higher wages are intended to offset the recent sharp increase in the cost of living. High salaries will be paid from April 1, 2024. (SDA)
