A big boom in the home electronics industry: Coop combines two online stores, interdiscount.ch and microspot.ch. In the future, there will be a single platform for home electronics customers. Microspot disappears. Customers enjoy a much wider range of choices, Interdiscount reports.
The Coop home electronics subsidiary informs customers: Interdiscount assumes all liabilities of microspot.ch: This means that all open orders, warranty and repair services will subsequently be handled by Interdiscount.
Coop pulls the plug on Microspot
Interdiscount does not say how many employees are affected. However, all affected employees must be offered employment. Blick’s demand for the Coop subsidiary continues.
Coop also provides the following information: There will be a new concept in Interdiscount stores in the future. It launched in 2022 and is currently available in 25 locations per year. By 2026, 80 sales points across Switzerland will have a new look.
