Fashion Beige cardigan: brief instructions for use

An online friend of mine bought a beige cardigan and is worried that it will look like a “boring granny cardigan”. I will try to convince her that this piece is not old-fashioned, but on the contrary, it can become a good basic piece of the current wardrobe. In general, I decided to share my vision of how to wear fashionable beige knitted cardigans and why they are remarkable.

The first thing they say about beige shades is that they make our skin look paler. This is of course a significant factor. And the shade needs to be chosen very decently so that it doesn’t look like a very pale toadstool. But sometimes the mood can be pale. Here is my favorite definition from Tokarev:

That’s why there is already a game on the illusion of nudity. Second, it’s easy to be sexy when you’re in heels and wearing a black miniskirt with red lipstick and eyeliner. But that’s the first, crudest level of sex appeal that reads at the most primitive level. In a neutral range, you can express more sensuality. And that will be a more difficult level of perception for others.

But sexiness and sensuality is still more about the mood, and we move on to more practical things: how to wear beige cardigans. It should be noted right away that it must be worn with a perfectly even tone of the face. Beige can instantly emphasize and highlight any redness or other imperfections in your skin.

If you are in doubt whether this particular shade of beige suits you, you can always wear a scarf that will match your color. In general, you must have several scarves and shawls that definitely suit you. With their help, you can “tame” even the most unfavorable colors for your appearance.

The most win-win options for a beige sweater is to combine it with things in brown and beige, gray tones and milky white.

I draw your attention to the fact that the game of textures in this case will be a big plus. I like it best when knits are combined with chiffon or satin. Sequin fabric can also be a good partner.

A beige cardigan goes well with printed dresses in most cases. Only the texture of the cardigan itself should be as smooth as possible. The exception is sets in the grunge style, where the embossed pattern for the cardigan will only be a plus.

What seems like a bad combination to me? Well, let’s say when a thin short cardigan is paired with a bottom that has a rugged silhouette. There is a visual imbalance.
