Color types, and any “color” fashion theory in general, is quite a controversial thing. Even on two friends with an almost identical figure and a similar shade of hair, the same palette can look completely different. So it’s unrealistic to imagine a situation where one color is labeled as absolutely inappropriate for all women – but here we are!

To be honest, we ourselves would not have thought that red (and we are talking about it today) is such a complex color. This fact caught the attention of blogger Gaby, who makes videos about vintage style. And when she combined clothes, she noticed that red, complemented by absolutely any shade, looks strange.

Don’t believe? See for yourself!

Red and yellow looks like a packet of mustard – now, as they say, out of sight! Red and green is a Christmas theme, as is gift wrapping and home decorations. Red and orange – Winnie the Pooh outfit, red and blue – almost like a flag… Anything you take in scarlet – there are strange associations everywhere.

Now what, don’t wear red? Of course not! First of all, there are reinforced concrete combinations that always look spectacular and not too much: for example, red and fuchsia, red and burgundy, red and milky. Second, you can always go for an overall monochromatic look: yes, it’s bold, but wildly photogenic and stylish at the same time.

The main thing is to choose exactly the shade of red that suits you and use it to the maximum. In its purest form, it certainly does no harm!
