If you haven’t tried quilted vests yet, now is the time to do so. For the simple reason that you can literally wear them with everything. No really!

And we are still silent about the most obvious combinations of a vest with a tracksuit, joggers with a T-shirt, a sweatshirt with jeans – there is no need to reinvent the wheel to get a comfortable outfit.
So yes, if you find the ‘right’ quilted vest, you’ve got a 100% versatile piece that will ‘cover’ you mid-season and go with any look – we’re being honest. The only question remains: where to look for such a vest and how to distinguish “the same” model from any other.
So a universal vest…
- a minimum of decorative fittings. Ideally, the zipper is hidden under a special “tab” and is not visible. Since no details stand out or draw the eye, this item can be very easily mixed with any outfit;
- it ends either at hip level or falls a bit lower – but not lower than a miniskirt. Long fitted waistcoats are considered anti-trendy, but straight, long or cropped models are what we’re looking for;
- keep its shape. The vest serves as an outer garment, so it cannot be thinner than the previous layer. If the material does not hold its shape and looks thin, then it cheapens the look. So we rely only on thick vests – the kind that look like full windbreakers or jackets. And we will be happy!
