This is a crime thriller not only directed, but also written by “The Wide of the Night” creator Andrew Patterson. It is not yet clear whether Matthew McConaughey will play the role of investigator or perpetrator.

In any case, details about the plot of “The Rivals Of Amziah King” are kept strictly secret. All that is known is that the film is about a criminal case and is set in remote areas of Oklahoma – and that certainly brings back memories of “True Detective”. Because even in Oklahoma, especially in the north of the state, there are swamps big enough to make people think cruel.
