Peter Wisdom is the type of person who doesn’t exactly know how he got to where he is today. Due to the advertisements placed by Deadpool, in “Deapool 2”, Peter signs up to be part of the X-Force. Although he has no mutant abilities or other superpowers, he brings good humor and a positive attitude to the group.
Unfortunately, the fine chap – like almost all other members of the X-Force – gets caught on the first mission, more precisely when the troops are dropped by parachute. While Shatterstar (Lewis Tan), Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgård) and Bedlam (Terry Crews) already die when they jump or land, Peter still controls it. Unfortunately, while trying to free his teammate Zeitgeist from a wood chipper, he is accidentally hit by his acidic vomit and dies – typical of Peter as a true hero.
However, Deadpool later confiscates Cable’s time travel device and returns to warn Peter. By doing so, the questionable superhero not only saved Peter’s life, but also enabled his return in “Deadpool 3”. Because how now exclusively reported Rob Delany to be seen again as Peter in the superhero sequel.
The interesting question now is whether the X-Force could also return as a result, after all, Peter is a real X-Force veteran after the events of part 2. Perhaps Wade Wilson will round up the remaining members of the superhero task force and try again to build a working X-Force.
What role will Peter play in the superhero comedy — and if there might even be a Peter vs. Wolverine fight coming, we know no later than November 6, 2024, then “Deadpool 3” will probably start in German cinemas.
