If you want to upgrade your home theater and are looking for a really good TV for little money, you don’t have to wait until the upcoming Black Friday. MediaMarkt has several top deals on airborne 4K TVs. We already reported on the 65-inch Philips OLED 837, which with its Ambilight provides a harmonious cinematic feeling.
If you want a size bigger, the Samsung Neo QLED is a top choice. In terms of image quality, it doesn’t quite match the Philips, but it still makes large parts of the competition look old. Both Samsung Deal Days at MediaMarkt* you can currently get the Samsung GQ75QN91B for only 1,999 euros including a 300 euro voucher. With the voucher you effectively get 1,699 euros, a hammer price for a 75-inch high-end television.
The coupon will also be sent by e-mail after the withdrawal period has expired and you can use it for your next purchase at MediaMarkt.
Samsung QN91B Neo QLED TV: deep black & strong brightness
Compared to normal QLED TVs, the display of Samsung’s Neo QLEDs is illuminated by thousands of tiny mini LEDs that can control contrast and brightness much more precisely. The result is excellent black levels that can keep up with the market-leading OLED TVs and a peak brightness that outperforms many OLED competitors in particular. This can be a blessing, especially in bright living rooms.
Strong performance for home theater and gaming
Support for HDR technologies is becoming increasingly important, especially when it comes to streaming. These provide a much wider color and brightness space and greatly improve image quality. The QN91B supports HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG formats. Unfortunately, you have to do without Dolby Vision support, but the Samsung TV displays this content in HDR10 without any problems.
The game features are also impressive: 120 Hz display, four HDMI 2.1 inputs, VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) ensure high and stable refresh rates with very low latencies at the same time. In short: gaming on the Samsung Neo QLED goes very smoothly.
The best alternative to the Samsung QN91B
It’s hard to find a competitive device in size these days. However, it is recommended Sony XR75X90K*, which produces strong colors and contrasts with its Full Array LED technology. However, it doesn’t quite reach the level of mini-LED technology. But with Sony’s “Acoustic Surface” technology, it sounds better than many other 4K TVs. A soundbar or external speakers are not necessarily necessary.
