A Star Wars movie from James Mangold, one from Dave Filoni and one from Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy – that’s the big news of the last few days and Star Wars fans should be pretty excited about it. But the cinema news wasn’t everything. FILMSTARTS editor Annemarie Havran will be on hand at the Star Wars Celebration, reporting directly from London on what’s to come over the next few years across the endless expanse of the universe. She even got to see the trailers of the “Star Wars” series “The Acolyte” and “Skeleton Crew” among others!
Also new in Star Wars: “Stories of the Jedito be continued! Creator Dave Filoni (“The Mandalorian”) itself announced in London that there will be a second season of the animated series. The official Star Wars Twitter channel immediately shared this info:

“Tales of the Jedi was so much fun the first time. I’ve done more of that,” Filoni revealed on stage. Unfortunately, he will not disclose more details. When we can expect the second season of “Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi” is not really to say. Probably end of 2023 at the earliest.
This is what Tales of the Jedi is about
As the name suggests, Tales of the Jedi tells short stories about extraordinary Jedi Knights. For example, it’s about Ahsoka Tano (voiced by Ashley Eckstein in the original). Ahsoka’s tribe realizes shortly after her birth that she is a Jedi. During her training she meets Anakin Skywalker and the two become not only friends, but also masters and scholars.
Another story tells how Jedi Count Dooku (Corey Burton) became a Sith over time. He always wanted to bring peace to the galaxy – but with power and oppression. Dooku struggles with his fate and questions whether he is on the right side – he begins to question the state.
Filoni has not yet revealed how the second season of “Tales of the Jedi” will continue and which Jedi will play a role.
