The performing arts festival has been postponed until May

For those who were waiting for the Performing Arts Festival (FAE 2023), they will have to wait another month.

FAE would be performed initially from April 14 to 19, but the organizers informed that the start is being postponed May 15 and lasts until the 20th of that month.

They are participating in the 12th edition of this festival groups and teachers guests from 8 countries, including Panama.

According to the organizers, the reason for the delay is FAE 2023 are economical.

“Response to the management of sponsorships that were carried out for month It was very slow and weakly positive, which delayed the confirmation of the international programming and other segments of the project,” the statement said.

Among these segments, they state: selection the best domestic and foreign theater and dance works in theatres, educational activities for students and performers, children’s theater for school children and outdoor entertainment for the whole family, all free or at very affordable prices.

The FAE Foundation intends to dedicate this additional month, which will be received by s change dates, multiply efforts to be able to specify the financial platform needed to implement FAE 2023 as planned or, failing that, adapt it to the circumstances of the case.

“At the moment, it only has confirmed support at the state level Ministry of CultureMinistry of Social Development and GECU of the University of Panama,” they say.
