This night toboggan run is especially suitable for adventurous families. Twice a week, you can go sledding at night on the three kilometer long illuminated track.

To start: Adelboden valley station
Aim: Tschentenalp
Length: 2.5 to 3 kilometers
Costs: 38 francs per person for climbing and 10 francs for sled rental

Fideriser Heuberge, Fideris GR

The Fideriser Heuberge toboggan run is one of the longest descents in Switzerland. A bus will take you to the starting point of the train. Then 12 kilometers down the mountain. You need a headlight, as the sled track is not illuminated. If you wish, you can end the day you spent sledding with a fondue party at the restaurant.

To start: Chalets Arflina and Heuberge
Aim: The sawmill site in Fideris
Length: 12 kilometers
Costs: Bus travel costs 26 francs per person, sled hire 16, headlights 18 francs.
Season: In good snow conditions and on request from 17 December 2022, otherwise the toboggan run will be open from 24 December 2022.
Good to know this: Night tobogganing is possible with a minimum of 6 participants per day. However, prior registration is required for climbing. It’s best to plan early enough. 16:15 – 20:15

Flumserberg Turkey

Fun is guaranteed on the Night Ride in Flumserberg. Twice a week you can sledding under the starry sky. The night offer is also available for skiers and snowboarders: two evenings a week, illuminated slopes are available for night owls. Bars and restaurants are also open on these nights for hungry and thirsty winter sports fans.

Aim: Tannenheim
Length: 3 kilometers
Costs: 27 francs for the climb, 16 francs to hire a sled
Season: 29 December 2022 – 4 March 2023
Good to know this: Night sledding takes place on Thursdays and Saturdays from 19:00 to 21:00.

GR from Foppa to Flims

The toboggan run starts at Berghaus Foppa and takes you through the snow-covered forest. The end of the cable car is at the valley station in Flims.

Good to know this: Night tobogganing starts at 18:00. The last train leaves at 20:30. It takes place on the following dates: 27, 28 and 30 December 2022. January to March 2023, Tuesday and Saturday

Night tobogganing Grindelwald BE

Night tobogganing is a prominent activity in Grindelwald. Yellow buses take guests from Grindelwald to Bussalp at 1,800 meters above sea level. The so-called “City Run” route is not illuminated. That’s why you should wear a headlight.

To start: bussalp
Aim: Weidli or Grindelwald village
Length: 4 kilometers from Weidli and 8 kilometers from Grindelwald Dorf (depending on snow conditions)
Costs: 30 francs per person for the bus ride, 17 francs for the sled rental.
Season: 26 December 2022 – 4 March 2023
Good to know this: Reservation is required and will be made daily from December 26, 2022 to January 1, 2023. From January 5, 2023 to March 4, 2023, bus reservations can be made from Thursday to Saturday (including Saturday). Tobogganing on the night of the full moon will be available on January 7 and February 5.

Switzerland’s longest illuminated night toboggan run is located in Melchsee-Frutt. LED lights are solar powered. From Melchsee-Frutt to Stöckalp you go down by toboggan for 8 kilometers.

There are several night tobogganing options in the Saas Valley resort area. Saas-Grund, Saas-Fee or Saas-Almagell – it’s all fun. Toboggan runs are not illuminated. Headlight rental fee is included in the ticket price.

Sparenmoos is located on a high plateau above Zweisimmen at 1440 meters above sea level. Tobogganing on the illuminated route is a lot of fun. The combination package also includes a casual fondue dinner.

Costs: CHF 45 for night sled combination (including bus rides, sleigh rental and fondue at a bar of your choice)
