Charles III is ‘proud’ of Catherine’s bravery

England’s King Charles III said he was “very proud” of his daughter-in-law, the Princess of Wales, for “her courage in speaking out the way she did” about the cancer she was diagnosed with.

The monarch, who also suffers from Cancer, stays in close contact with his “beloved daughter-in-law,” says a spokesman for Buckingham Palace, the royal family’s residence.

Following their joint hospital stay following surgery in January, Charles III has been in contact with his daughter-in-law in recent weeks, and he and Queen Camilla “will continue to extend their love and support to the whole family at this difficult time,” he added.

The Princess of Wales was subjected abdominal surgery last January at the London Clinic, in the center of the British capital, the same medical center where the monarch underwent surgery for benign prostate enlargement.

The message from the palace became known today after Princess Katarina released a video filmed for the whole country in which he admitted that after a successful abdominal surgery, doctors discovered that there was cancer.

As the princess explained, experts recommended a chemotherapy treatmentwhich is at an early stage.

Wife of Prince William, the heir British crownshe admitted that the news of her illness caused a big “shock” in the whole family and that both he and her husband had to process what happened and find the right moment to tell their three little children, Princes George, Charlotte and Louis.

News of the princess’ cancer comes after weeks of intense speculation on social media about her illness or whereabouts.
