The first images from Tim Burton’s horror sequel “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” show Michael Keaton in his cult role!

In 1988, Michael Keaton was up to mischief on the big screen as the eponymous bio-exorcist and lottery ghost ‘Beetlejuice’ and went down in film history with cult director Tim Burton’s horror fairytale. More than 35 years later, Burton is now working on a sequel to his classic, which is entitled “Beetlejuice Beetlejuicewill hit German cinemas on September 5, 2024.

After the first poster for the horror sequel appeared at the beginning of February, the first scenes from the film can now be seen. And this is finally a reunion with your favorite lottery ghost, as Michael Keaton (“Batman”) returns to his cult role. In the first photo, he brings back our eerily beautiful memories and wildest nightmares with his black and white striped suit and crazy makeup:

Plus, we get a glimpse of the exclusive photos of that you can view directly from the magazine, also one First, look at the returnees Wynona Ryder (“Stranger Things”) as Lydia and Catherine O’Hara (“Schitt’s Creek”) as Delia Deetzas well as new additions Justin Theroux (“Mullholland Drive”) as Rory and “Wednesday” star Jenna Ortega as Astrid.

While further details about the story are not yet known, these images give us a taste of what to expect in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” So at least we can expect – who would have thought – a funeral. At this point we can only speculate about who is underground. But it won’t be long before we get the first trailer for the horror comedy and can finally tell us more…

In addition to the new additions of Ortega and Theroux, Willem Dafoe (“Poor Things”), Burn Gorman (“Watcher”) and Monica Bellucci (“The Magic of Malèna”) complete the cast of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”. The latter is said to embody the wife of the infamous lottery ghost.
