After Taylor Swift opened the website last year Paralyzed because so many fans were trying to get tickets for her coveted stadium tour “The Eras Tour”, the pop icon finally inspired her fans in October 2023 with her own concert film, which was shown exclusively on the big screen. So not only die-hard Swifties, but also everyone else interested got the chance to see the exceptional musician on tour – regardless of whether they could get their hands on concert tickets or not.
“Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” took in approximately $262.6 million at the worldwide box office after record-breaking presales and a limited run in theaters, making the film the most successful concert film of all time, even trailing “Michael Jackson’s This Is It.” A total of $179.8 million was raised in the US alone, placing the concert film at eleventh place among the most successful films of the year in the United States and Swift even receiving a Golden Globe nomination in the new category “Cinematic And Box Office Achievement” alongside “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer”.

After the film has already been released as video on demand on Amazon, among others, ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ will soon find a new home in a streaming subscription – and will be available to subscribers there at no extra cost. The music event will be available in the streaming program on Disney+ from March 15, 2024.
“Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions” on Disney+*
The Disney+ version will exclusively include five songs that were not part of the theatrical version of ‘The Eras Tour’ and are not available in the video-on-demand version. This includes the hit single ‘Cardigan’ from the album Folklore, as well as four other acoustic versions that Swift played as surprise songs in various cities during her tour.
To ease the wait until March 15, until then you can rewatch Taylor Swift’s “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions,” which are already available for subscription on Disney+.
