The now 51-year-old struggled mentally with this and eventually had her breasts enlarged to feel more comfortable in the ‘Baywatch’ look. “Oh my God, we’re going to shoot in a swimsuit all day,” Eggert recalls of her first day of filming in 1992. The actress was 18 years old at the time.
From her point of view, her colleagues on the series, especially Pamela Anderson, were all muscular, slim and perfectly built. She, on the other hand, had difficulty with her body: “The one-piece swimsuits were not exactly flattering. I didn’t want to wear them at all.” Nicole Eggert had breast implants placed so that her swimsuit “no longer wrinkles” at the front. Eggert hoped that the slow motion recordings of the lifeguards would have a particularly flattering effect.
