‘I almost threw up’: Clint Eastwood’s daughter has returned from her father’s retirement

“He [Sam Moore] said, ‘You know, your dad wants you to do this movie,'” the actress recalled in an interview with . “I almost threw up. [Mein Mann] asked: ‘Is everything okay? Has anyone died?’ I said, ‘No, I just don’t feel very good.’ I quit acting and threw in the towel, so to speak, and decided to focus on a lot of other things. I thought: why does he want me?”

The movie was “The mulefrom 2018. Clint Eastwood plays a 90-year-old man in his 90s who is caught smuggling drugs across the border in this drama based on a true story. Alison was, of course, cast as the cheerful drug runner’s daughter.

It soon became clear to Alison that she would like to appear in front of the camera again for her father, also because this was another great opportunity to spend time with him:

“The more I thought about it, the more I thought, ‘Maybe this is an opportunity to not only play his daughter, but also just spend some free time with him. And my husband said, ‘If you don’t do this, you’re going to regret it for the rest of your life.'”
