More to come after the reconciliation: Charlie Sheen and ‘Two And A Half Men’ creator’s new series continues

Almost no one saw this coming: After Charlie Sheen and ‘Two And A Half Men’ creator Chuck Lorre once fell out so badly that the actor was even fired from the popular sitcom in 2011 (and later retaliated verbally several times), the two reconciled surprising this year. The reason for this was the search for a prominent guest star for Lorre’s latest series “Bookie”, for which Lorre Sheen was the ideal choice – who gratefully accepted the offer:

Sheen’s role in ‘Bookie’ is not that big (he plays a fictionalized version of himself in a self-deprecating manner in the first and last episodes of the first season). But the unexpected burial of the hatchet may have brought extra attention to the series (especially since the “Two And A Half Men” reunion is perfected by another special guest appearance in episode 1).

In any case, the American streaming service Max is so satisfied with the viewing figures for ‘Bookie’ that the series has now been given the green light for a second season more than two weeks after the finale of the first season. American trade journals report this unanimously. It is still unclear whether Charlie Sheen will return for further guest appearances in the new episodes, but certainly not unlikely.

When will “Bookie” come to Germany?

While the continuation of the story about the bookmaker Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco), who struggles to stay afloat in competitive sports betting in Los Angeles, is now being prepared in the US, It is still unclear when and how “Bookie” will find its way to Germany.

There is no information about this yet. Until now, Max (formerly HBO Max) productions in this country were mainly shown on Sky/WOW and RTL+. However, it is not yet known whether this will also be the case with ‘Bookie’.
