During his extensive career, the musician has released more than 50 albums as a solo artist and collaborated with artists such as Miles Davies, Carlos Santana, Ron Carter, Gil Evans, Fania All Star, James Brown, Peter Gabriel, Quincy Jones, Sonny Rollins, among many others.

Since 2014, the festival has been the first event in the world to be awarded academic credits university students in collaboration with Berklee College of Music. In addition, he promoted cultural and educational tourism in Panama, leaving an indelible mark on the country’s history for 20 years.
