Will we see Kylo Ren again in a Star Wars movie? Here’s what Adam Driver says about his future in the franchise

During Star Wars Celebration 2023, it was revealed that Daisy Ridley will return as Rey Skywalker for an upcoming Star Wars film. In “Star Wars: Episode 10,” the heroine will continue the Skywalker legacy and rebuild the Jedi Order more than 15 years after the events of “Star Wars 9.” Ridley’s return has fueled the rumor mill and left fans eagerly speculating about which characters from the new trilogy could return alongside Rey Skywalker.

And of course in this context the name Kylo Ren came up. The villain played by Adam Driver (“Ferrari”) is Rey’s Sith counterpart in the new trilogy. Now the actor has… -Podcast himself commented on the rumors and his future in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise, making it unmistakably clear that he has closed this chapter.

Kylo Ren is gone

‘You do something, but not to me. “I don’t do anything anymore.” – said the actor in the discussion group. For the mime artist, the character of the Sith Lord Kylo Ren has simply been narrated and so there would be no reason to reprise the role. Of course, given the death of Kylo Ren, aka Ben Solo in Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker, it only seems logical that the character won’t return.

On the other hand, fans also know that death in ‘Star Wars’ isn’t the end and there are plenty of ways to give a deceased character more screen time – but Adam Driver has now clearly put a stop to these possibilities with his statement.
