It’s worth the sweat. Research shows the health-promoting effects of sauna.

Sauna is not a steam bath, the humidity should be a maximum of ten percent at 100 degrees. Lying in the sweat room without drying yourself or wearing a wet swimsuit after a shower increases humidity and will be rude to other sauna guests. Wet skin also delays sweating.

Golden rules of sauna

  1. The infusion increases moisture and is allowed only at the end of the sauna session. You should definitely ask your friends who use saunas. Many people cannot tolerate heat shock.
  2. The minimum is two courses, but more than three courses are not recommended.
  3. You should not eat too much or drink alcohol before the sauna.
  4. If you want to take a sauna at the gym after exercising, you should only do this when your heart rate returns to normal. The break should be at least 15 minutes.
  5. When you enter the sauna, your body loses about half a liter of sweat. But you should not drink anything during the courses.
  6. Basically, it is better to have a short and hot sauna rather than a long and warm sauna.
  7. The best position is lying on your back. This means the body is in the same temperature zone from head to toe.
  8. Towards the end of the sauna session, go deeper into the areas and stand up to allow your circulation to cope with standing up.
  9. We recommend that you take a warm foot bath after taking a shower with cold water. There is still a lot of heat stored in the body. You start to sweat and feel really weak.
  10. In no case should you shower with shower gel after the last shower, otherwise your skin will dry out too much.
