LG OLED B3: the price-performance tip

In numerous tests, the LG B3 impressed with its great picture. Computerbild gave it an overall very good rating (score 1.4) and the trade magazine hifi.de also gave it a clear recommendation in its test (score 9.2 out of 10). As is typical for OLED, that is possible high contrast, perfect black and intense colors to expect. In addition, there is a very wide viewing angle; unlike cheaper TVs, the picture still looks good from the side.

The features of the LG OLED B3 are virtually beyond doubt. There are 2 x HDMI 2.1 at 120Hz, plus all the relevant gaming features. Video game fans get their money’s worth. But home cinema enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth, because with the HDR technologies HDR10 and Dolby Vision, colors and contrasts are displayed even more precisely and powerfully. However, as usual with LG, HDR10+ support is unfortunately lacking.

The B3 inherits the great strengths of other LG smart TVs. Operation is super intuitive thanks to the innovative Smart Remote and the menu can be adjusted to your individual wishes. With the new smart cards you can organize apps into categories and, for example, collect all your favorite streaming providers in one place.

Samsung S90C: the alternative with a QD OLED display

The Samsung S90C combines OLED technology with quantum dot technology (QLED) and thus reaches completely new levels of image quality. The Samsung has an even better image than the LG B2. In addition to the higher image quality, the Samsung OLED also has better speakers than the competition, which provide relatively good sound. There are also four HDMI 2.1 with 120Hz.
