About thirty Panamanian artists of the Folklore Dance Studio left the country’s name high in the competition in the Dominican Republic.
Group ofand 36 people traveled to Punta Cana to represent Panama at the International Dance Championship “All Dance Luxury Intercontinental 2023”.
After the national qualifications in June 2022, this delegation prepared for a great show in every performance.
They were under the general direction of Odette Cortez and Rafael Chong and the musical direction of Ormelis Cortez.
The the Panamanian delegation participated in 12 categories, in different dance modalities such as Ethnic Dances (Folklore), Musical Theater and Dance Open, winning in each of these categories and defeating large international delegations such as Colombia, Puerto Rico, Peru and Chile.
It should be noted that the delegation consisted of children from the age of 8. youth, adults and seniorsat the student, pre-professional and professional level.

– 38 Awards to dancers for artistic performance.
– 1 honorable mention for the highest international result in the Modality of ethnic dance.
– 1 recognition to directors Odette Cortez and Rafael Chong for cultural leaders.
– 1 Statue of Recognition to the Folklore Dance Studio for the national i international as a young academy founded 5 years ago.
– Three awards to the Folklore Dance Studio as a member of the All Dance Academy International.
