Colombian singer Maluma has confirmed that he will become a father for the first time since his partner, Colombian architect Susana Gómez, is pregnant with a baby girl.
The artist announced this in the middle of a concert held in the American capital as part of his “Don Juan” tour and through a music video.
“My people, I have a surprise for you tonight,” he said.
“We will do today World premiere my next video,” he added.
“You’re going to witness something that no one in the whole world sees,” the artist said on stage before presenting his latest music video “Procura”.
It contains pictures of the couple on their travels and intimate scenes from your everyday life and in the final part, they both go to the clinic where Gómez goes for an ultrasound.
The final surprise video is a family gender reveal party where, with fuzzy pink smoke and fireworks, it is announced that the baby will be a girl.
Juan Luis Londoño, better known as Maluma, watched the video with the audience and left the stage moved to tears, pointing to the screen and saying, “the real Maluma baby.”
The 29-year-old singer of urban music, originally from Medellín, who popularized songs such as “Felices los cuatro” or “Hawái”, has been dating his partner for two years, a relationship that they both discreetly maintained.
