Blockbuster highlights in their best version: On Amazon Prime Day you can watch “Transformers”, “Harry Potter” & Co. cheaper than ever before

The time has come, Amazon Prime Day has arrived – and invites you to the annual bargain battle on October 10 and 11. For movie lovers, this usually means: after being held back in recent weeks with attractive offers making it a little easier to save money, they are now being bombarded with a host of strong promotions all at once.

At Amazon you can currently get thousands of films and series on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray cheaper. The varied range of products is divided into different categories, such as: Box sets and special editions*, Anime*, Horror and thrillers* like DVDs and Blu-rays*. This article is mainly about the best and most popular movies in the best possible quality – in 4K.

As usual, the shipping giant is bringing together 4K Blu-rays and 3D Blu-rays in a promotion – which seems to be growing every year. The fact that over 350 films are now part of the offering is only slightly surprising, as UHD releases are on the rise. I still really like the whole thing because in many cases prices have fallen significantly compared to last year.

While the link above contains an overview of all the reduced titles that you can browse through yourself, we would like to take the opportunity to point out some blockbusters and masterpieces that are particularly worth your time. Do you want to make your home theater Ultra HD ready? Then it’s worth taking a look the best 4K TV deals on Amazon Prime Day.

Instead of more than 130 euros, you currently pay just under 90 euros – an absolute price-performance hammer, especially considering the limitation, the elegant presentation and the almost 14 hours of ultimate 4K enjoyment that the excellent UHD discs offer.

With an average price of less than 10 euros per film, the author of this article also recommends it without reservation Trilogy ‘Back to the Future’*, whose 4K evaluation makes the old Blu-rays look quite old. Just like the double consisting of ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, which is available for just under 25 euros:

Before “Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny” celebrates its home theater premiere (a box set of all five films has not yet been announced), you can currently save more than 20 percent with the “Indiana Jones” Quadrilogy.
