The national competition for scientific photography “FotoCiencia” has announced the winners of this edition for 2023.
In total 12 photos were chosen as this year’s winners.
The purpose of the initiative is to reflect the object of study of scientific activities, the people who carry them out, their instrumentation or the technologies resulting from scientific progress; microscopic views; activities or phenomena that show the presence of science in children and adolescents; and the impact of climate change on the environment.
Since its first edition in 2015, this competition has been aimed at Panamanian photographers, professional or amateur, interested in providing their own perspective related to science in Panama.
