Oh, how people in this country love to rave about the dishes of their childhood! “Mmm Riz Casimir! I love Hans!” you sometimes hear. Understandable – that’s how it is all over the world: Mom cooks the best.

But I wonder: if Riz Casimir is as tough as you keep saying, Then why don’t you eat more of it more often? Why are fewer and fewer restaurants offering this? And if it’s on a menu, why does everyone order the cordon bleu?

Is it ultimately true that you *whisper* but you have less interest in this relic from the seventies then a tasty Thai curry?

Now everyone has to be very, very honest with themselves. And ask yourself: what do I prefer to eat? The old-fashioned or the modern counterpart? You sit in the restaurant and can choose: What more do you want?

Let’s go!

A bit of food porn (because you don’t treat yourself to anything else): here you will find street food from all over the world!
