The trailer for ‘No One Will Save You’ starts off like a classic home invasion thriller: Brynn Adams (Kaitlyn Dever), who lives in a remote house, wakes up in the night because she hears strange noises in her house. However, when she investigates the case, she quickly realizes that neither a burglar has gained access nor are creepy (human) characters trying to terrorize her – something is definitely not right here!
After Brynn faints from colliding with her apartment door, which suddenly flies through the house, and doesn’t wake up until the next morning, she searches for answers – and encounters many strange occurrences. The people around her have disappeared without a trace or are behaving strangely, something is brewing in the clouds above her and the attempt to barricade themselves in her house the next night also fails…
Home invasion meets alien invasion
Home Invasion meets Alien Invasion: That sums it up really well with “No One Will Save You”. In any case, the trailer promises that the mix of classic horror scenes (only with aliens instead of ghosts and demons) and sci-fi fight for survival works quite well.
The whole thing is a bit reminiscent of a mixture of thrillers like ‘The Strangers’ or the first ‘The Purge’ and sci-fi horror films of recent years like ‘A Quiet Place’ and ‘Nope’ – with a touch of gigantic aliens. -Spaceships in the sky and the scene where Brynn has to run from a four-legged alien.

The biggest (and apparently only major) role in ‘No One Will Save You’ is played by Kaitlyn Dever, who celebrated her definitive breakthrough with the high school hit ‘Booksmart’, but was also previously seen in bigger films such as ‘Beautiful Boy’ . .” or “Detroit” could be seen. The film is directed by Brian Duffield, who has already gained experience with all kinds of scary creatures as (co-)writer of films such as ‘Love And Monsters’ and ‘Underwater’.
“No One Will Save You” will be released on September 22, 2023 on the American streaming service Hulu. Since the film is a production of 20th Century Studios (formerly 20th Century Fox), which now belongs to the Disney Group, and Hulu does not exist in this country, “No One Will Save You” will be shown in Germany on Disney+ – also on September 22, 2023. This has been the case with many Hulu productions in the past.
