Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood will discuss their new album and the band’s next era this Wednesday in an exclusive YouTube live stream with Jimmy Fallon. Appropriately, it will be broadcast from the London borough of Hackney – the album will be called “Hackney Diamonds”.
True Rolling Stones fans have been noticing for a while that something is up. The band had a cryptic advertisement placed in the British newspaper Hackney Gazette, with many allusions to old songs. «Our friendly staff promises you satisfaction. The new album features the last recordings of drummer Charlie Watts, who died in 2021. It also features Steve Jordan, who has since replaced Watts during live performances. It could also be that Paul McCartney plays the bass on a song.
