With “The Walking Dead: Dead City”, the first new “Walking Dead” spin-off after the end of the main series started a few weeks ago in the US. So far, four episodes of the offshoot about former nemeses Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) have been released, two episodes are still pending in season 1. But even before the season finale, it was announced when the next addition will be out the world of the ever-expanding zombie franchise would be available – and it’s even coming a little sooner than previously thought:

In the meantime, the new “Walking Dead” series have at least found a German streaming home, but we have to be patient even longer in this country until we see them. Unlike “The Walking Dead” and its first two spinoffs”Fear the walking dead” And “The Walking Dead: World Beyond“, the new offshoots in this country are not available parallel to their US premiere, but only a few months (!) later.

As recently announced, the Telekom streaming service Magenta TV will be the new premiere home of the “Walking Dead” franchise, after the anthology spin-off “Tales Of The Walking Dead” was launched there for the first time in Germany some time ago. had been shown. “Dead City” won’t launch on Magenta TV until October 2023 – and so even after the US takeoff of “Daryl Dixon”. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, in which the titular hero accidentally washes up in zombie-infested France looking for a way home, follows later this year. After the big delay of “Dead City”, we don’t expect a December release.

It remains to be seen if the highly anticipated new series “Walking Dead” will be a little faster, as “The Walking Dead: Rick and Michonne” will also be shown exclusively on Magenta TV in Germany.
