Action Legend Expands “Stranger Things” Season 6 Cast

“Stranger Things” is one of the biggest Netflix hits ever. No wonder fans are eagerly awaiting season 5 of the series. At this point, however, it’s still uncertain when it will hit the streaming service with the big red N, as the fallout from Hollywood’s writers’ strike also hits “Stranger Things.”

However, in the course of the big Tudum event in Brazil, a pretty good message was made that could make not only “Stranger Things” fans but also action fans pretty happy: “Terminator” star Linda Hamilton will expand the cast of season 5! The series therefore remains fairly faithful to its retro route and brings a real genre legend on board.

Linda Hamilton rose to fame with her performance as Sarah Connor in the Terminator franchise and made quite the impression as a tough mom. Now she has the great honor of being part of the final season of Stranger Things. But even if the “Stranger Things” series ends with “Season”, there will still be supplies from the world of Eleven and Co.

Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer are also working on a spin-off of an 1980s cartoon style animated series. Substantive details and how this series will be related to “Stranger Things” are not yet known. We probably shouldn’t find out more about the animated series until after the start of Season 5.
