Imports of consumer goods increased by almost 16 percent
Galician export prices rose by 5.8% in March compared to the same month in 2022, according to data published by Galician Statistical Institute (IGE) this monday.
On the other hand, prices from imported goods increased by 4.8% compared to the previous year the same month.
Typologically, the biggest increase was recorded in capital products (+18%), followed by intermediate products (+7%) and consumer products (+3.7%).
As for imports, the prices of consumer goods increased by 15.8 percent. The increase in capital products increased by only 0.13%. On the other hand, a slight decrease of 0.3% was recorded for intermediate products.
According to the geographical destination, the price growth of export goods is as follows: to the Economic and Monetary Union (+0.35%), to the EU (+0.42%), to the OECD (+5.78%) and the rest of the countries. the world (+5.28%).
The prices of imported goods from the Economic and Monetary Union increased by 7.4 percent. They are followed by those from the EU (+6.9%).
