Your claim creates costs for the public purse that exceed the amounts to be collected
Official Gazette of Galicia (dog) this Friday publishes the joint resolution of the General Intervention of the Autonomous Community of Galicia and the Directorate Galician tax agency for which annulment and the cessation of recognition of all those liquidations that are in the execution period and of which a debt pending collection for an amount less than three euros.
As conveyed Ministry of Finance, cancellation of outstanding debt is periodically carried out by all tax administrations. The goal is Avoid collection actions that represent a loss for the state treasurybecause these liquidations create costs that are greater than the resources that could potentially be obtained from them.
The actions provided for in the decision published this Friday in the DOG will be implemented in connection with settlements that result in an outstanding debt of less than the above-mentioned amount on December 31, 2022. In this case, this will mean write-off of 1,879 debts totaling 1,973.78 eurosthat is, an average of 1.05 euros for each debt written off.
