This is 21.6% more than the previous year, when turnover amounted to 321.2 million euros. The gross operating result (ebitda) was 62.98 million, which means a growth of 36.3%. Copasa’s pre-tax profit reached EUR 27.4 million, 27% more than the previous year.

One of the strategies of the construction company from Ourense is to consolidate concession projects, because they believe that this gives greater “stability” to future income. In this direction, the Galician company operates on three Galician highways — Costa da Morte, Celanova and Salnés — with shares that in some cases reach 70%. It also has a concession for the Circuito Vial Tres, a road almost 300 kilometers long located in Uruguay. In this case, Copasa has an 80% stake in the consortium that also includes Espina Obras Hidráulicas. Other concessions in which the company from Ourense is present range from parking lots to water treatment plants or gas stations. In Brazil, for his part, he designed and built a sanitary network in the state of Belem for later rental.
