Team Cyrano won the gold medal for Panama in the team competition in the senior category at the IV Interleague and Interclube National Fencing Cup of Colombia.
The team consisted of: Arturo Dorati Ameglio, José Quirós Torres and Juan Culiolis Guillén.
The Cyrano B team, consisting of Juan Garay, Johan Achurra and Juan Camilo Guzmán, also saw action and placed 11th, while in the youth epee modality they finished 16th in the table.
On the other hand, Arturo Dorati, in the month of January he trained in Madrid, Spain and then he took part in the second stage of the Spanish championship where there were 170 fencers and he placed sixth, very close to the medal table, a result that placed him at 11 .place of national order of Spain.
From tomorrow, February 28, until March 7, 2023, Panama will compete in the Pan American Cadet and Youth Fencing Championships, which will also be held in Bogota, Colombia.
